HELP WANTED!

I’m having a bit of trouble getting all K-Pop news to you as I don’t have that much time. So if any of you would like to join me and spread K-Pop news feel free to get in touch with me by leaving a comment on the bottom of this page under the tags and I’ll get back to you.

Your bias does not need to be Super Junior- although it can be, as to be honest, I’m lacking on other important K-Pop artist news and I would like to spread news on other artists.

It would be a great help if you could post new K-Pop news and music videos. If you are following various artists’ Twitter (and such like) it would help, as I don’t post many artists’ Twitter updates. Also posting macros, music videos, full lyrics, dramas, mangas and animes would help!

You will be an author for milkroll and will get to write as many posts as you like -as long as the posts are based on K-Pop!

So please, if you could help, that would be brilliant!

Chocolat’s Teaser MV for ‘Syndrome’ is Revealed!

New girl group Chocolat has generated quite the buzz after they were revealed to be a ‘bi-racial’ group, meaning that some of its members were of mixed descent.

After revealing that they’d be making their debut on August 17th with “Syndrome“, an MV teaser was subsequently released online. In it, we see the girls delivering surprisingly strong vocals and smooth choreography. It seems like they’re planning on going with an aegyo concept, as seen by the giggle and wink at the end of the clip.

Chocolat Reveales Member Profiles

Just moments after announcing their debut, Korea’s first bi-racial girl group, Chocolat, has returned with profiles and photos of all five members!

Chocolat, meaning “Chocolate” in French, is comprised of five ladies with an average age of 18.6  The members’ names are Min Soa, Jae-Yoon, Juliane, Tia, and Melanie. As previously revealed, three of the members have American fathers and Korean mothers.

A representative of Paramount Music said, “Just like how chocolate has different flavors, Chocolat will be a group that has a variety of different charms to show on stages all over the world. You can definitely look forward to the birth of a great new rookie star. Their debut track is a club style dance track.”

Representatives explained, “Chocolat’s music can be considered a mix of club and electronic dance songs. They’re perfect clubbing songs to listen to in the summer. You can consider it a mix of T-ara’s ‘Roly Poly‘ disco music and 2NE1’s ‘I Am the Best‘ dance music.”

One member has been revealed to be a veteran with 8 years of experience under her belt. She debuted at the age of 8 on Arirang TV and went on to star in shows like KBS’s ‘Ding Dong Dang Pre-School‘.

Chocolat will be making their debut with their first digital single, “Syndrome“, on August 17th. The girls will be debuting on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘ the day after on the 18th.

Paramount Music To Debut Bi-racial Girl Group

For the first time ever, Korea will be seeing a new girl group debut comprised of bi-racial members.

Produced by Paramount Music, 5-member girl group Chocolat will be making their official debut on August 17th. They’ve managed to turn quite a few heads in the industry already, thanks to their unique combination of members.

The five girls include two Koreans and three half-Caucasian, half-Korean members. All three of the bi-racial ladies have American fathers and Korean mothers. With an average age of 18.6, the girls have been training intensively for the past two years and a half.

We’ve seen plenty of girl groups debut with attention-grabbing concepts, but this is the first girl group ever that’s specifically comprised of bi-racial members.
